Former World Cup runner-up turns into the cheapest player in the world!

Ivan Perisic has completed his loan move from Tottenham to Croatia’s Hajduk until the end of the season.

Perisic has been suffering from a cruciate ligament injury since last September, and is scheduled to return to the field at the latest in next March.

Tottenham allowed the 34-year-old to leave for free on loan for the remainder of his contract, after which he can permanently join the Croatian team next summer.

According to what Fabrizero Romano revealed, Perisic has become the cheapest player in the world, as he will receive only one euro as salary in his new Croatian club.

This huge sacrifice from Perisic, to get almost no money, comes because of his desire to return to his childhood club and write history with it.

Perisic began his career in Hajduk’s youth groups before moving to Sochaux’s youth team in 2006, and his career turned into one of the most important players in the world in the past decade.

The Croatian played for many major clubs such as Bayern Munich, Inter, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham, and also won several titles such as the Champions League and the Italian Cup.

The greatest achievement in Perisic’s career remains his runner-up in the 2018 World Cup with the Croatia national team.
