Barcelona decides to dispense with 5 players next summer

“Sport” newspaper reported that Barcelona’s management decided to dispense with the services of five players at once during the upcoming summer transfer period.

The current leader of the Blaugrana, Sergi Roberto, will be the first to leave Barcelona after his only supporter at Camp Nou, coach Xavi Hernandez, departed.

The second name will be Marcos Alonso, whose contract – like Roberto – expires at the end of this season, and there is absolutely no intention to renew his contract.

The Barca management decided to offer Uriel Romeu for sale one year after he arrived at the Catalan club after he had failed to perform as expected so far.

Two names that are also highly likely to be released but this time for economic benefit are Anders Christensen and Rafinha.

Barcelona is looking to reduce salaries so that it can sign new players, and the only way is to sell some assets or sell players, and most likely the second option is what Deco’s management will do.

There is a big revolution that will happen in Barca with the departure of Xavi, and the beginning will be with the new coach, and perhaps with him the list of those departing will increase from the previous five names.
