Announcing the new club of Hannibal Mejbri

Sevilla announced the signing of Hannibal Mejbri from Manchester United on loan until the end of the season.

Some controversy has arisen recently about Hannibal’s new destination, after Everton entered forcefully and attempted to kidnap him from Seville.

But in the end, the Tunisian settled on going to Seville, as the club he had been aspiring to since last summer.

According to British media, Sevilla has the right to buy Hannibal next summer for only 20 million euros.

The 20-year-old’s contract will not include a clause allowing Manchester United to buy him back, which means the end of his journey with the Red Devils completely.

It is noteworthy that Hannibal did not participate with the Tunisia national team in the African Cup of Nations until he succeeded in completing his transfer from Manchester United in search of playing regularly.

Throughout this season, Hannibal only participated in 11 matches, most of them as a substitute, and he succeeded in scoring his first goal in a United shirt with a shot against Brighton at Old Trafford.

Hannibal joins Sevilla in its worst condition, at 17 with only 16 points, just one point behind the first relegation place in the Spanish League.
