Ancelotti resolves the goalkeeping “headache” and chooses a permanent goalkeeper

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has decided to stop the rotation between Kepa and Andriy Lunin in the goalkeeping position, according to what was reported by the Relivo network.

The Italian coach had said in previous statements that he would complete the season with a rotation system between the two duos, but now it seems that he has changed his mind for the third time in less than 4 months.

According to the latest report, Ancelotti is leaning towards completing the season with Andriy Lunin, after the brilliance of the Ukrainian goalkeeper and the few mistakes he committed compared to Kepa.

If this happens, it will also pave the way for the fate of the goalkeeper next season, given that Lunin will then welcome the renewal of his contract, and Kepa’s contract will not be purchased from Chelsea.

Thibaut Courtois is scheduled to return during the preparation period for next season, and he will be the first goalkeeper, and Lunin will then accept to return to the bench, unlike the current situation with Kepa.

Lunin played a number of distinguished matches this season, most notably the El Clasico match against Barcelona in the Super Cup, and demands to keep him increased, and the administration itself, headed by Florentino Perez, clearly wants that.
