Ancelotti guides Real Madrid to sign the “new Ramos”

Real Madrid continues its search to strengthen the centre-back position, even if it decides not to include a new player this winter.

According to what was reported by English media, Carlo Ancelotti informed Real Madrid that Jarrad Branthwaite, Everton defender, would be the ideal choice to support the centre-back next summer.

The Italian coach was the first to deny Branthwaite the opportunity to play for Everton’s first team. This happened in 2021, and it is said that Carlo and his son Davide are still in constant contact with him and give him non-stop support.

Branthwaite has just renewed his contract with Everton for three years, but he would welcome a move to Real Madrid if the opportunity arises next summer.

Real Madrid is considering more than one option in the heart of defence, such as Lille defender Lenny Euro and Benfica defender Antonio Silva, and Branthwaite may be the latest to join the list based on Ancelotti’s wishes.

The 21-year-old player participated in 21 matches this season in all tournaments after returning from his loan last season to PSV Eindhoven.
