A sovereign decision decides Benzema’s fate with Al-Ittihad

Journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that the Saudi Investment Fund categorically refused to allow Karim Benzema to leave Al-Ittihad in the current winter Mercato.

The French international has been experiencing many disagreements with coach Marcelo Gallardo recently, to the point that rumors said that the Argentine decided to strip the player of the captaincy.

At the same time, Manchester United are said to be interested in acquiring Benzema’s services and will make an offer in the coming hours, with Chelsea’s name also appearing in the picture.

But according to Ben Jacobs, whatever the differences and whatever happens, Benzema will remain at Al-Ittihad until the end of the current season, as informed by an important source from within the Saudi Investment Fund.

The fund that owns Al-Ittihad Club believes that Benzema is a very important player in the major sports project in Saudi Arabia, so there is no intention to give up his services.

It is assumed that the vision regarding the 36-year-old will become clear in the coming hours, whether with his involvement in the Dubai camp or Gallardo’s continued refusal to include the player in the camp due to his delay in returning from his vacation.
