A new step reveals the identity of Barcelona’s new coach

The newspaper “Sport” reported that Hansi Flick has become the most likely to succeed Xavi Hernandez as coach of the Catalan club next season.

The German coach tops the list, which includes other names such as Sergio Conceicao and Mikel Arteta, for many factors, most notably the ease of signing him and his playing style that suits Barcelona.

According to the latest report, Flick began preparing himself for the new mission by learning the Spanish language, but what is also new is that he began looking for an assistant who speaks Spanish and German to assist him in his new mission at Camp Nou.

In particular, there are two names nominated for this position: Oscar Corochanu, who has Spanish origins but is Zamil, the former coach of Bayern in the German U-21 national team, and Christian Feil, the current coach of Nuremberg.

So far, Joan Laporta’s administration has not made its final decision regarding Xavi’s successor, and it is said that Barca’s sporting director, Deco, opposes the idea of bringing in Flick and prefers other options.

Flick succeeded in leading Bayern Munich to achieve the historic six-place finish, but he failed miserably after that during his experience with the German national team and was dismissed last September.
