A historic hat-trick from Ferran Torres saves Barcelona from the trap of Real Betis

Ferran Torres led his Barcelona team to achieve an important victory over Real Betis, 4-2, in the match of the 21st round of the Spanish League.

The match was dramatic by all standards, as Barcelona took the lead with two goals through Torres in the 21st and 48th minutes.

While everyone thought that the mission of Xavi Hernandez’s squad was over, Isco appeared out of nowhere and equalized for Betis in the 56th and 59th minutes.

This is the first time Isco has scored against Barcelona throughout his career, and it is also the first time he has scored two goals in one match since scoring with Real Madrid against Espanyol in 2017.

The match was on its way to a draw, but Joao Felix was able to score the third goal in the 90th minute, then Ferran Torres scored his third and fourth goal for Barcelona in the 92nd minute.

Felix’s goal was also created by Torres, making him the second player in the Spanish League this season to contribute 4 goals in one match after Rodrigo with Real Madrid.

Overall, this is the first time Torres has contributed four goals in a single match in his 240-match career with clubs and national teams.

With this result, Barcelona’s points tally rose to 44 points, 7 points behind leaders Real Madrid, and Betis’ tally froze at 31 points in ninth place.
